A packing slip is a form for customers to be aware of the items that are contained in the box in which they ordered.
Assign a Packing Slip Template to an Order
You can assign a Packing Slip Template to an Order record. This template will be used when creating Packing Slips for the Order during Fulfillment.
NOTE: During Fulfillment, you can also choose to override any Packing Slip Template assigned to orders.
Assign a Packing Slip Template to An Order
If you are assigning a Packing Slip Template to an existing Order, the order must be in a status of "On Order" meaning it has not yet been processed.
- Access the “Order” table. Two methods:
- From the Dashboard: Click the “Account Management” tab, click the “Order” App, then click the “Order” Table.
- From the Quick Actions shortcut: Press a dot (period) on your keyboard, then select “Order” from the list of Quick Actions. - If you are creating a new order:
- Click the Create New button.
- Select the Templates tab at the bottom of the window.
- In the Packing Slip Template field, select the Packing Slip Template to be used for the order.
If you are editing an existing order that has not yet been processed:
- Select the Order for which you want to assign a Packing Slip.
- Click the Edit button at the bottom of the Order.
- Select the Templates tab at the bottom of the window.- In the Packing Slip Template field, select the Packing Slip Template to be used for the order.
- When you are finished with the Order, click Save.
