How to Create / Edit Job Types

When entering Job Time into Infoplus (which indicates the amount of time spent on a specific job), you need to select a Job Type (i.e., Receiving, Receiving Putaway, Picking, etc.). Job Types help to organize job time.  

  1. Access the “Job Type” table. Two ways:
    From the Dashboard: Click the “Warehouse Operations” tab, click the “Labor Management” App, then click the “Job Type” Table.
    From the Quick Actions shortcut: Press a dot (period) on your keyboard, then select “Job Type” from the list of Quick Actions.

  2. To edit a Job Type, click on the Job Type record and select Edit. Edit the record and click Save
    To create a new Job Type, click the Create New button. The Creating New Job Type window displays.



  3. Enter a Name for the Job Type (i.e., Receiving Putaway).

  4. Enter a Description for the Job Type (i.e., Product putaway done as part of Receiving).

  5. Enter a Job Code for the Job Type (i.e.,. RECV-PUT). This code will appear in the Mobile App when entering or editing Job Time. 

  6. In the Is Active field, select whether the Job Type should be active and available for selection (True) or inactive (False).

  7. Click Save. The record will appear in the Job Type table and the Job Type will be available for selection when creating Job Time.
