      Update Location Addresses

      Location Address Scheme will assist you in updating multiple location address schemes at once.

      Update Location Addresses

      If you modify a location address scheme, run the “Update Location Address” process to quickly update selected locations with the modified scheme.   


      For example, if you added the Zone to a location address scheme, you can update all locations that use that scheme (i.e., change an address from 501-050 to DF-501-050 where DF represents the Down Forward zone).


      You can begin the process from the “Warehouse Setup” app or from within the “Locations” table.


      To Run the “Update Location Address” Process from the "Warehouse Setup" App:

      1. Access the “Update Location Address” process. Two methods:
        From the Dashboard: Click the “Warehouse Operations” tab, click the “Warehouse Setup” App, then click the “Update Location Address” process.
        From the Quick Actions shortcut: Press a dot (period) on your keyboard, then select “Update Location Address” from the list of Quick Actions.
      2. From within the "Location" table, select the locations whose address needs to be updated by clicking the checkbox next to each location. 
        NOTE: You may want to add “Address Scheme” to the searchable columns at the top. You can then search for only the locations using the address scheme you modified. See Search Within Tables for help.
      3. After making your selections, click Next.
      4. Review the locations to be updated, noting the “New Address” column.
      5. Click Next to update the addresses.
      6. Click Done.

      To Run the “Update Location Address” process from the “Location” table:

      1. Access the “Location” table. Two methods:
        From the Dashboard: Click the “Warehouse Operations” tab, click the “Warehouse Setup” App, then click the “Location” Table.
        From the Quick Actions shortcut: Press a dot (period) on your keyboard, then select “Location” from the list of Quick Actions. 
      2. Click the checkbox next to each location to be updated.

      3. Click the Actions button and select Update Location Address.
      4. Review the locations to be updated, noting the “New Address” column.
      5. Click Next to update the addresses.
      6. Click Done.
