The Headlines:

We're back with some exciting updates for you this week! Our team has been hard at work addressing a few pesky bugs, including issues with SLA dates and rate shopping. We're also excited to introduce some new enhancements, such as the ability to generate "One per Carton" return labels for multi-carton shipments with FedEx and UPS. And for our clients looking to ship internationally with USPS, we now offer support for eHub, providing a more seamless shipping experience. Ability to Generate “One per Carton” Return Labels for Multi-Carton Shipments with FedEx and UPS

An update to the returns module in Infoplus created a bug impacting users' ability to create multiple return labels for orders with multiple cartons when shipping with FedEx and UPS. This was because these two carriers had unique requirements on how to request return labels on these types of orders, so users would need to create one return label at a time.

Now, when using the “Create Return Labels” process, clients will be able to select the Generation Option “Print 1 label per Carton” on orders that have multiple shipments and are shipping with FedEx or UPS, and a return label will be generated for each corresponding shipment. Users will also be able to edit the dimensions of the cartons or delete any cartons that are not needed.


Bug Fix: Insights SLA Dates

A bug related to SLA dates in the insights module was causing the timezones behind Central (in relation to UTC) to use the previous day in calculating SLA Dates on orders (which is an Insights module feature). Users across all timezones should now see correct SLA Date calculations on their orders.


Bug Fix: Rate Shop Script Log Fix

This addresses a bug where, if using a script to add or remove parcel accounts when Rate Shopping, the Script Log would indicate that all parcel accounts were being used to rate shop, even though they actually weren’t and had been removed. Now, the Script Log for Rate Shop scripts will only show the parcel accounts that are actually being rate shopped.


Support for USPS International Using eHub

Infoplus is now integrated with eHub for shipping internationally with USPS. Users will notice that when using their eHub USPS parcel account, it will no longer re-route automatically to an EasyPost USPS account, and they will be able to ship internationally with their eHub USPS account.

It’s important to note that eHub currently does not support using a “content type” of “other” for customs information. If clients need to use the Order Property Override “International Parcel > Contents type” with a value of “other,” or need to use the Order Property Override “International Parcel > Contents type other description,” they will need to use their EasyPost USPS account to ship internationally, as eHub is in the process of adding support for this field.
