Product Update: Introducing Infoplus Scripts, plus Shopping Cart Connections for Magento 2 and WooCommerce

Infoplus Scripts

A powerful new element has been added to the Infoplus platform: The ability to define and run custom Scripts within Infoplus. This means you have an even greater ability to customize the behavior of Infoplus, either in response to actions in the system (i.e., Triggers), or on an ad-hoc basis.

For example, write a script to:

  • Make sure every new Warehouse Location you build is set to Online.
  • Split Orders between Warehouses if they contain specific SKU’s.
  • Increase all of your Item footprints by a quarter of an inch.
  • Change the Billing Type on Warehouse Locations based on their Level.

These are just a few examples. We’ll love seeing what our customers can create with this powerful new capability.

These scripts work by executing user-defined JavaScript code against records in Infoplus, with full access to the Infoplus API.

  • A new Run Script action type has been added to Triggers.
  • Scripts can be directly executed from the Script Table.
  • The new Script Log table tracks the output any time a Script runs.

Magento 2 and WooCommerce Shopping Cart Connections

Infoplus now integrates with two new Shopping Carts: Magento 2 and WooCommerce. As with all of our Shopping Cart Connections, Infoplus’s integrations provide these key features:

  • Orders are automatically pulled from the Shopping Cart into Infoplus in real time. As soon as your Customer completes their purchase, Infoplus is ready to fulfill it.
  • Shipments are automatically pushed from Infoplus to the Shopping Cart as your Warehouse ships its Orders, giving your Customers real time visibility.
  • Inventory levels are automatically updated from Infoplus to the Shopping Cart, helping to avoid Back Orders.

Magento empowers brands, retailers, and businesses across B2C and B2B industries to quickly and cost-effectively deliver engaging omnichannel shopping experiences. Magento 2.0 also offers enhanced performance and scalability, new features to boost conversion rates, and business agility and productivity improvements. Infoplus also continues to support Magento 1.
