Product Update: Recover when Out of Stock for an Allocated Order
The Infoplus Team
|
Infoplus has launched a new No Stock Recovery process. This allows safe recovery in the situation where Inventory is allocated to an Order during Fulfillment, but later discovered during Picking that the stock isn’t available (whether it’s due to a packaging error, a receiving error, a shortage, damages, etc.).
Running a No Stock Recovery allows you to select which Pick is short, from which Order to remove the allocated Item, and indicate how much Quantity you are short. And, if the Picks were for Casebreak, Infoplus will ask you what Parcel Labels you wish to void.
After you run a No Stock Recovery:
- Back Orders will be created for the Item that is Out of Stock (according to the Item’s configuration).
- Orders will be updated as Shipped, if the rest of the Order is indeed Shipped.
- The Casebreak Parcel Labels you selected will be voided.
