Product Update: Single SKU Optimized Fulfillment, Predefined Packages, ShipStation Webhooks, and Dock Dates
Single SKU Optimized Fulfillment
If the majority of your orders are for a single line item, then you might like the new “single SKU optimized” picking rule that has just been added to Infoplus.
If you use this picking rule, all of your Order packing documents for a process (whether that’s an Order Assembly Guide, Packing List, or Order Invoice) will be interweaved with the pick work tickets for your process. That means you’ll get a pick ticket, then the packing documents for all of the orders that are fulfilled by that pick. This methodology can eliminate the need to do a layout or matching step for fulfilling single line item orders, saving you labor on these orders, and reserving your layout space for the orders that need it.

Predefined Packages
You may find hidden savings in your freight spend by taking advantage of predefined packages offered by the parcel carriers, including USPS. You can now use these predefined packages in Infoplus. The initial rollout is for options supported by USPS, but if there’s a carrier you work with that has flat rate parcels, please let our support team know, and we’ll be able to set those up for you as well.

ShipStation Webhooks
If you have integrated Infoplus with ShipStation, you will be excited to learn that Infoplus can now automatically receive shipment information for your orders back from ShipStation through the use of webhooks.
Webhooks are a technology that allows different applications in the SaaS universe play together. They are http calls made from a source application to a target. So when an event happens in the source application, that the target application can be notified about it automatically.
In this case, you can set up your ShipStation account to send a message over a webhook to your Infoplus account. Then, as soon as a shipment is created in ShipStation, it automatically sends it to Infoplus. This removes the need for you to manually request for shipment data to be sent between systems.

Dock Dates
If your standard operating procedure needs to account for what date inventory arrives on your dock, you can now specify that Dock Date when you perform either a Quick Receipt or a Receiving Worksheet in Infoplus. You can then view the Dock Date for all of your receipts on the Item Receipt table.
And for techs, the Dock Date is stored in the “itemReceipt” endpoint of the Infoplus API.
