This week’s release includes a few bug fixes and some updates around Rate Limiting and the eHub integration. Don’t forget that API V3 is now available for all Infoplus users! Continue reading to learn more about these updates and how they impact Infoplus users.
API Rate Limiting is now functional in all test sites.
Rate Limiting in Infoplus means if a call to the API exceeds 3 calls per second per user, a 429 error will occur. Rate Limiting will provide a more stable version of the Infoplus software by ensuring scripts that hit an error state do not run on repeat and overload the API affecting all Infoplus users and sites.
Over the next month, we will be rolling out API Rate Limiting in our production sites. Infoplus will slowly decrease the number of allowed API calls per user per second. Right now, the threshold will be 20 calls per second per user, but over the course of the next six months, it will eventually decrease to 3 calls per second per user.
Infoplus is proud to introduce a new partnership with shipping service eHub

If a Pick to Cart fulfillment plan is used with Auto-Ship turned on, any Cart Locations used do not automatically release their LPNs, and must be manually released. With this bug fix, when using Pick to Cart Fulfillment plans with Auto-Ship, cart locations will automatically release.
Infoplus users were experiencing a bug when shipping orders via a Non-Parcel shipping process that caused the Carrier to display incorrectly. Now, users can note the Carrier that was used to ship orders outside of the Ship Station and the Carrier will default to the Carrier selected on the Order.
