We can help you identify if it’s time to make a change. But in our experience, if any of these are happening, it may be time for a switch:

We’re all about making this process as easy as possible from day one. While there are more interim steps, here’s how our most successful clients have approached the process:

Needs assessment. Evaluate your current system’s limitations and define the features needed in the new system. Be sure to get input from all relevant stakeholders, including managers, end users, customers and partners.

Vendor selection. Research multiple vendors to find one that aligns with your key requirements. Talk with multiple members of their team to ensure your values and approaches are compatible, in addition to exploring any technical requirements you may have.

Data migration. Be sure your vendor has the infrastructure and expertise to ensure a smooth transfer of data from your old system to the new one. 

Training and onboarding. Provide comprehensive training to managers and users before you launch.

Testing and implementation. Test the system before full deployment to make sure all features work as expected.

 

We recommend you implement the system in phases, starting with non-critical processes. This allows to train staff ahead of time and ensure data migration is complete and fully tested. At least in the beginning, have a fallback plan in place to revert to the old system if you run into unexpected issues.

 

InfoPlus offers data migration services as part of our implementation process. It involves transferring inventory records, order histories and other vital information from your old system to the new one. This process requires meticulous planning to avoid data loss or corruption—but we’ll be with you at every step.
