This week’s release includes the all-new Warehouse Inventory Table to support users with 10+ warehouses and some maintenance to address the inventory discrepancy error discovered last week. Also noted are some bug fixes and product enhancements, the all-new Return Shipments Table, Rate Limiting updates, and the cost-saving eHub integration with Infoplus. After we fixed the inventory discrepancy error introduced by the product update last week, we decided to further our efforts to ensure the inventory issue will not occur again by performing some maintenance to our backend systems. We are adding relevant alarms to notify our teams of potential similar issues and streamlining some processes.
To support Infoplus accounts with 10+ warehouses, we’ve launched a Beta Version of a new table called the Warehouse Inventory Table. This table populates inventory quantities for each Item within each Warehouse so users can easily see all data across multiple warehouses at one time. This view allows users to filter and drive reports based on inventory within specific Warehouses, LOBs, and SKUs.
For more information about the Warehouse Inventory Table, what it can do, and how to use it, please see this Knowledge Base article.
As this feature is in Beta Mode, there may be some bugs or opportunities for improvement. Please submit a support ticket if you encounter any unexpected errors or have feedback for enhancements related to the Warehouse Inventory Table.
Users discovered an error related to shipping Loads in the Infoplus Ship Station. Users could not complete the shipment when a KOD was attached to the Load. Now, to avoid this error when shipping Loads in the Ship Station, users cannot add KODs to their Loads.
We’ve fixed an unclear error message that would display when trying to release a dynamic cart location (noted in the image below). When using the Release Cart Location. The error message will more accurately explain that the cart cannot be released because the cart location is not currently assigned.
Old Error Message Example:
Updated Error Message Example:
If an Order is in an unexpected state where it doesn't have an Order Source, that order can still run thorough fulfillment in Infoplus. Previously, orders without an Order Source could not run through fulfillment.
A bug was identified that caused Dynamic Kit orders to revert to their original state after Dynamic Kit components were added. If changes are made to a Dynamic Kit, the order will save with the changes and not revert to its original state.
We recently added two additional servers to handle the increased volume expected during the peak/holiday season. To add to our system’s speed and stability, we are also expanding the capacity of these new servers.
Returns Shipment table in Infoplus and is available for use! This table mirrors the same data available on the Shipments table, except for any return labels generated.
You can keep track of all your return shipments, run reports and analyses on the data in this table, and see all your data (including tracking) in one place.
For more information on how this table works and how to utilize it, please reference this Knowledge Base article.
We recently implemented Rate Limiting into all live sites to deliver the best possible experience for all Infoplus users. Rate Limiting protects against slow performance, allows for scalability, and improves system stability. To ensure the safety of our API consumers and the API itself, we have determined the Rate Limit needs to be updated from 20 calls per user per second to 3 calls per person per second.
This product released moved the API Rate Limit from 20 calls per second per user to 10 calls per second per user. Beginning in January, we will slowly decrease the number of calls to our goal of 3 calls per user per second.
This new rate limit of 10 calls per user per second is currently active in all live client sites. If you exceed the new limit, you will receive a 429 error.
If you need help optimizing your API calls in light of the Rate Limits, the Infoplus Professional Services team is available for hourly consulting and development. To request a consult with Pro Services, please submit a new ticket.
